Decades ago I took a class at UCLA where the professor talked about reintroduced species into its place of origin. For example, the horse evolved in North America, spread across to other continents, but became extinct in North America until it was later reintroduced by colonists. This is a reintroduced species, but the term refers specifically to animals unique to an area that became extinct in that place of origin and were later reintroduced.

My Apocalyptic Literature teacher challenged the class to find the lyrics or at least the name of the song about an elephant the prophecies that the zoo is going to flood, but none of the animals believe him. The teacher believes it's about a zoo in the Czech Republic, but he isn't sure. Does ANYONE know of a song like this or close?

Is the "Zookeeper" edition of Zoo Tycoon 2 available for the Mac? (1 answer)

I have the PC version, but want to get the Mac version as a birthday present. I can't find it for sale on Amazon, and was wondering if it wasn't being made or if it just isn't available at Amazon. She already has the Zoo Tycoon 2 for the Mac, but I wanted to get her the zookeeper game with Endangered Species and African Adventure. Thanks! :-)
