I play tennis. About 5 years ago I began playing another season with my college team and noticed pain in the upper thigh of my right leg. It isn't bad pain; more of an immobilizing pain. My leg just doesn't want to move. I noticed as well there was some lower back pain with this as well.
It happens when I begin exercising (running/playing tennis) and also afterwards. When I play tennis it usually stays present throughout the entire match, but if I'm running long distance it will sometimes go away and then return in soreness after I'm finished.
I feel it the most when I'm pulling the front of my thigh forward to take another step or if I'm turning my body forward around my left foot (pivot). |
