Can drip pans for electric ranges be chrome plated? Would they stay clean and shiny with a minimum of work? (1 answer)

I am forever buying drip pans for my electric range. The black enameled ones get funny in a short time no matter how careful I am with them. The mental finish ones get ugly even faster. If I have a set of them chrome plated would they stay nice with a minimum of effort on my part? I wonder if they too would discolor rapidly.

I'm looking for something called a picnic pac. 4 or 5 aluminum pans that stack sort of like a mess kit. (1 answer)

You could cook your meal at home in the pans, then they stacked snugly together so you could tak them on a short road trip, or whatever.
