Interesting Askville Questions:
My baby boy will be turning 1 next month. Does anyone have any great and creative birthday party ideas? I want it to be really special!
It's a 50th birthday party with 50-70 guests, there will be booze and live music and kids will just be a bringdown. Etiquette books and Miss Manners say it's rude to disinvite people. We have friends who bring their children (infants, toddlers, or tweeners) everywhere they go. Is there a way to politely suggest that these friends get a babysitter for this special occasion? I think the invites should say something humorous, such as, "Leave the kids at home, we're gonna PARTY!," but my wife (whose party this will be) doesn't like that approach. Suggestions?
Name as many celebrities you can find, living or dead, with the birthday of February 8th.
