Interesting Askville Questions:
I just read a bio for Hrithik Roshan where it said he took singing lessons to prepare for his career. I was under the impression that no one did their own singing in Bollywood films. Is this not correct?
I always thought people had to be born with good singing voices. Apparently not. Well, how do people with naturally bad singing voices gain a good voice and that ringing that you hear in good singing voices?
I have taken great pleasure over the years in singing. I am not a professional and do not want to be in even a quasi-professional chorus. I love to sing with other people who are serious about making music, can carry a tune, harmonize or stay with their parts when someone else harmonizes; and are willing to yield to leadership though asked to participate in the form of suggesting songs, etc. This would be an a capella group. Any experience, or ideas, on how to convene such a group? I'd say 8 would be a minimum number; double that, a maximum.
