I saw an article recently listing the top ten workplace "don'ts", and one of them, for women, was that you should not wear shoes with more than a half-inch heel or you would look "too sexy". They put it on par with showing a bra-strap. I thought one of the main components of a 'together' business look for women was a stylish pair of heels. By stylish, I mean businesslike colors and materials that are comfortable enough to stand/walk in (not 4" wedges with pink straps and fish swimmin' in the heels of course). Anyone agree or disagree with the "don't" listed above? Why? |
i have looked at Timex, they have a guys HRM but that's too big and it has GPS which i do not need. Polar ones (in my price range) do not have interval timers on them. the awesome watches that under armour has for women is not a HRM, but fits all other requirements. at this point i'm almost ready to admit defeat. i want a smallish size women's HRM with chest strap and interval timer. is that too much to ask? :) |
Ok, so here's the deal: I am 5'4" tall and weigh about 138 pounds.
Prior to having 2 kids, I wore a 38B, and that was about perfect...I really don't have very large boobs.
Post kids, however, I find that I'm much more comfortable in a bra that has a 40 band...but if I can find a 40B, the cups are actually meant for C-D size boobs! (At least, my poor babies don't take up all that room.)
The other problem is that even when I can find a 40B that actually fits my boobs, it's a granny bra - every square inch of breast is hidden from view.
I'm not looking to flaunt it (except for special occasions), but I also don't want to feel like I'm basically wearing a halter top under my shirt.
I am so tired of trying on bras that are "40B", but are obviously designed for overweight women, which I am not.
Anyone have any help out there? |
