Interesting Askville Questions:
I have the Motorola Mobile Phone Tools 4.0 CD, but it does not recognize my phone device (krzr k1). Does anybody have an idea why? What shall I do?
I have a wall charger and a USB port charger for my cell phone. I know if you leave in a wall charger without a phone connected to it, it still uses electricity. But, what about a USB port cell charger? If I leave the USB part plugged in to my computer without a phone connected to the other end, is electricity still being used? Also, which is better for my electric bill--using the USB charger or wall charger? Any sources would be wonderful!
We have to pay to send data on our plan, so I can't email photos or videos that I take with my phone (it would be cheaper to buy the program). If I connect the phone to my computer via USB, it isn't possible to download anything from it. I livechatted with AT&T, and they said as far as they knew the only thing I could do was pay $35 and buy Motorola Phone Tools - but they thought that there was probably some freeware out there that would do the same thing. So far I haven't been able to find a program that works. I'd rather not have to pay Motola an additional $35 (and by the way, I think Motorala is pretty sleazy to have sold a phone that you can't download from as-is), but I don't want to use a stolen program either. Any ideas?
