My son gave me one and I am trying to figure out how to use it. I went to the website and found out it is out of warranty. I posted a question on their forum, but doubt that I will get an answer there. I need help for a Iomega dummy, like me. Specifically, how do you back up my PC's hard drive? and How can I restore the files to either my desktop or to my laptop. Thanks for your serious help.

A while back, after my computer crashed, the tech was able to retrieve the info from it and store it on an external hard drive. Now, I've sorted through all the info and would like to 'erase' the hard drive and store all new files. Can this be done? If possible, how? Computer is an HP Pavilion 543x and the external hard drive is FD Titanuim External USB 2.0 hard disk drive
