What are the best christmas lights? Where can I buy them? (1 answer)

I really like some of the new LED lights...they may cost a little more but they are very energy efficient and the LED should rarely burn out. I bought a couple strands for the tree but now am looking for outdoor lights for the house...probably C9 size. The strands I found are very short...like 35 bulbs...would like longer strands. Or just a good source for christmas lighting online. BTW I am SO TIRED of wrestling around with traditional bulbs trying to fight which bulb is causing the string not to work.

I know they don't use 120V, and use resistors. How do I know which one is bright? How do i solder them to a resistor? What rating resistors do i use? My purpose is to wire my own LED lights for Halloween and Christmas decorations.
