I live in Texas and am having a party but no one knows when the darn thing is going to start. I need actual kick off time that's all. THX! |
I realize this is a hard question to answer, but give it a shot. :-) I'll list a few of the ones I've read already to try and give you an idea of what I like.
Some that I've read and liked very well: the Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan), Valdemar (Mercedes Lackey), Belgariad (Eddings), Sword of Truth, though it got kind of tired towards the end (Terry Brooks), Nightrunner (Lynn Flewelling), the Halfblood Chronicles (Andre Norton), Aurian (Maggie Furey)...
I've read the Witches of Eileanin, the Riftwar Saga books, and some of the Deverry books, and they were OK...
I didn't care for the Shanarra books, the Song of Ice and Fire books or the Bridge of D'Arnath books...
I realize I've read these over a period of many years, but I'm finding myself on a fantasy kick again and I'm wondering what to read now. Any suggestions? |
I have the first of 3 drafts coming up in Fantasy football leagues Monday evening. Any ideas as to who I should draft first and why? I'm torn between a good Running Back and a good Quarterback. I suppose my spot in the draft order will have a lot to do with it, so could use a few names. |
