I'm very fond of Tom Baker, myself. I even made myself a "Doctor Who" scarf, using instructions from the BBC. The resulting monster could wrap around me three times and still drag on the floor!

Now that The Doctor is back in a new series which do you prefer, the original or the newer version? I can't remember how long the original ran, but the latest version is in its second or third year, but its really hard to tell the way the Sci-Fi Channel runs the episodes. (They're all on dvd, that much is certain.) So, which is your favorite and why? I have to admit - and this is a departure for me since I usually prefer the originals - I prefer the current one. How about you?
