the lenses are fine. I don't know where to find just the discontinued frame. a search just brings me old links. |
i bought some frames and prescription lenses. wanted to buy some glass lenses as well to pop in when i go out at night -- i really like my glasses but want to rely on my contacts at night. been told i need special equipment to switch out the lenses. what do i need? are all plastic framed glasses like this? do i need equipment appropriate to the specific brand of frame in question (e.g. oliver peoples equipment for o.p. glasses, paul frank equipment for p.f. frames, etc.)? how much do the tools cost, in general? any other information you think i might find useful would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance for your kind consideration. |
The company told me I could use a regular frame and didnt' have to order the conversion kit. I got a special frame that would fit into the slats in the headboard but that raises the frame up so high it doesn't touch the floor anywhere. Does the conversion kit from the company have a taller frame or what is the difference? |
