I'm considering jumping ship and leaving my iPod behind for a Zune. Anyone know if the Zune is compatible with iTunes? Anyone out there own a Zune? If so, how do you like it? |
First, I must admit that I love my Ipod, so I am prejudiced in this respect. I marvel at the fact that Microsoft's Zune, Samsung's player (I can't even remember it's name) and all of these other Ipod "wannabes" haven't presented any serious competition to Apple's Ipod, which is essentially the Sony Walkman of the 21st century. When people thought of portable music in the late 70s and early 80s, they thought of Sony. Note that, during that time, almost no one ever said "my portable radio-cassete player", they called it a Walkman, no matter what brand of device they actually owned. Likewise, when people think of an MP3 player, they think of the Ipod. That's why podcasts are called podcasts and not Zunecasts. Consider this amazing fact, unlike the Sony Walkman (which was basically the first in its class) , there were other MP3 players on the market BEFORE the Ipod, and yet the Ipod may as well be the ONLY MP3 player that exists. And no, I am not an Apple employee... |
I can get the file to open up in Zune and play on my computer. But it does not appear to save it and I can not get it loaded onto my Zune mp3 player. |
