So I have an LG shine with at&t, and I want to switch to metro pcs but I dont want to waste my money on buying a metro phone when I have one thats perfectly fine. Is there anyway I could use my at&t cell phone with a metro plan? or if I can somehow unlock it, how do I do it?

There are many music player enabled cell phones coming to the market, and many of them are actually very good in terms of sound, user interface, physical size/weight and memory capacity. Would it make sense to replace your iPod or other portable media player for a music player phone in order to only have to carry one device with you for both phone calling and media playing? (if you are not interested to have an iPhone or simply because you can't have one) If so, what are the reasons why you haven't gotten one of these music phones already, and instead decided to buy a portable media player?
