plan on purchasing a panasonic plasma tv this weekend. someone told me plasmas have to be watched in a dark room because of glare. is this true? I plan to put it in my family room which has a couple of windows. does anyone have experience with plasma tvs? thanks, I do not want to make an expensive mistake. |

Hi. I'm considering buying either the Samsung 52" LCD HDTV that came out this March. I'm also considering the Sony 52" LCD. Anyone have any comments on the two? I was told both are superior in picture quality to the 52" Aquos by Sharp. Then again, some said I should really consider purchasing a plasma in place of the LCD.
UGH! Choices, choices! I don't watch a lot of TV, and would be concerned with mainly DVD movies, and occasional sports.
